Connect Appointments is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Technician to join an innovative manufacturing business based in Musselburgh. Our client designs and manufactures specialist energy storage products from a busy production facility, offering a varied and hands-on role combining manufacturing operations with planned preventative maintenance and facilities support. What's on offer? Ongoing temporary position Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm Salary dependent on experience As a Multi-Skilled Technician, your duties will include: Supporting daily manufacturing, assembly, filling, testing and dispatch activities Carrying out routine PPM inspections and maintaining accurate maintenance records Supporting facilities maintenance across plant rooms, compressed air, extraction systems and building fabric Carrying out basic electrical and plumbing maintenance including component replacement, minor leak repairs and pipework Supporting continuous improvement activities including root cause investigations and corrective actions To be considered as a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will need: Experience in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance or a similar industrial environment Practical mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team PPM, basic electrical or plumbing experience is advantageous - a forklift licence and PAT testing experience are also beneficial Interested in this Multi-Skilled Technician role?
