First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Van Driver to join their team in Oxford.
My client is a family run business who is a multimodal specialist logistics provider for medical and healthcare communities. They operate temperature-controlled vehicles in the UK & Europe.
The successful individual will be collecting pharmaceutical waste and delivering and collecting pharmaceutical based items, so attention to detail is key.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Make safe delivery and collection of goods.
2. Collect & dispose pharmaceutical waste.
3. Deliveries and collections in and around your hub location.
4. Short & long-distance driving as and when required.
5. Deliveries & collections to secure sites.
6. Complete a daily van maintenance check.
7. Adhere to all driving regulations.
8. Represent the company in a professional manner.
Skills and Experience:
9. Van Deliveries and collections.
10. Temperature controlled usage (Not essential as full training given).
11. Waste handling deliveries and collections (Not essential as full training given).
12. PDA/Apps use.
13. Manifests Route planning.
14. Minimum 6 months driving experience in a van.
15. Clean driving licence no more than 3 points.
16. 5 Year checkable history.
17. DBS check – Paid for by the company.
18. May require a CO certificate, paid for by the company.
