Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

As a Health & Safety Manager, you will:
1. Lead all health and safety initiatives on site and report to a Head of Safety overseeing all European sites.
2. Build strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by providing guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
3. Help embed a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
4. Operate with professionalism and integrity, offering independent and expert advice to the site management team on health and safety issues.
5. Develop positive working relationships with trade union representatives, ensuring regular meetings to review safety standards.
6. Lead the site Health and Safety Committee, promoting effective communication and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.
7. Collaborate with colleagues in the wider health and safety function and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach across the organization.
8. Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and support safety performance improvements.
The salary for this position is approximately £50,000+ with bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Full details will be discussed upon application.
