Overview

Up to £58,941 + excellent benefits

Queensmead House School is located on a historic site with views of Windsor Castle. This inspiring setting, with a rich heritage of education, is now home to a specialist learning environment recently rated Good by Ofsted. QHS is an independent specialist day school, with both primary and secondary settings providing high quality education. The school meets the needs of a diverse group of pupils with complex educational needs, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours.

Our teachers are fulfilled by the idea of making even the smallest positive changes in our young people, so we celebrate the little things. There are ups and downs, and for some of our young people, sitting through a lesson can be a big win. We call these huge small victories and, while they may seem small, they add up to make a big difference. You will be there to help children and young people learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories you achieve will be something you’re really proud of.

As a Teacher at Witherslack Group, you’ll get all the support you need to succeed, from in-house psychologists to teaching assistants and therapy professionals. Your colleagues will be the best at what they do, the school environments will be well-resourced and we’ll be with you every step of the way to help you build a rewarding teaching career.
