Job Title: Security Manager - Identity Engineering
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edinburgh or Alderley Edge
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
We are seeking a Security Manager within our Security & Resilience function. This operational role focuses on maintaining high standards to ensure colleagues have appropriate access, minimizing cybersecurity risks.
The ideal candidate will work independently in the Identity & Access Management field, overseeing the support of Identity tooling. This role includes managing a small team of Identity Engineers, providing daily task management, and developing team skills to operate Identity Management controls effectively.
Responsibilities
* Develop IAM Engineering, guiding team members to implement technical components aligned with Cyber and business strategies.
* Manage Cloud identity standards and assess Royal London’s performance against them.
* Lead the team in developing processes, procedures, tools, and metrics for Privileged Access Management & Identity Governance to ensure optimal operation and SLA adherence.
* Represent the Head of Operational Security in management forums when needed.
* Create KRI reports to evaluate Identity Management controls' effectiveness.
* Propose tooling upgrades and automation to improve threat detection, containment, and eradication.
* Manage technical risks in IAM, oversee control frameworks, and implement the Risk Management System (RMS).
