We are seeking a qualified Benefits & Wellness Coordinator to join our Nottingham, PA team.
* SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
* HOURS: 8:00am-5:00pm, with some flexibility

Job Summary
This role involves responding to employee benefit and wellness inquiries via phone, walk-in, or email to ensure prompt and effective customer service. The coordinator also supports benefits programs through communication, education, and execution, demonstrating Herr’s commitment to employee support and service excellence.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
* At least 1 year of relevant HR or benefits experience; customer service experience a plus
* Bilingual in Spanish preferred
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
* Strong customer service, listening, and communication skills
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
* Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritize effectively
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with industry-specific software and PowerPoint/Excel is a plus
* Ability to occasionally travel (approx. 5% annually)
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
* Office environment; sedentary work for extended periods
* Use of computer equipment for long durations
* Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs

Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Support
* Serve as the first contact for employee benefit inquiries
* Resolve issues efficiently, providing clear explanations and follow-up
* Assist with benefit enrollments, changes, and technological support
Education/Training
* Coordinate and communicate open enrollment and new hire benefit orientation sessions
Administrative Support
* Handle governmental benefit-related documentation and employee verification requests
* Manage benefit vendor programs and employee communications
* Collaborate on payroll benefits monitoring and data updates in HRIS
* Support leave management processes and act as a front desk backup
Wellness Program
* Design and promote wellness initiatives to increase participation
* Lead Wellness Committee and coordinate programs with wellness champions
