We’re offering a rare opportunity to lead the Mechanical Maintenance team at exactly that; our brand new, state-of-the-art cement grinding terminal in the Port of Tilbury. As the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the mechanical maintenance function. Leading a team responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment in this 24/7 operational environment. You’ll lead on all aspects of mechanical maintenance, including stores management and the planning and execution of maintenance works. This is a unique opportunity to shape the maintenance culture at a brand new site. Working closely with your peers, you’ll directly impact the performance of this site for the production of materials into the UK construction supply chain. Who you are You bring proven experience in mechanical maintenance management within cement or heavy industrial environments. You’re a natural leader, able to support the development of your team onsite. You’ll be familiar with SAP or similar systems to enable efficient scheduling and inventory control. You thrive in dynamic, round-the-clock operations, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on problem-solving.
