Intro
We’re searching for a Senior Project Manager to act as the right hand to the Healthcare Practice Lead within a growing healthcare studio in New York City. This Senior Project Manager / Healthcare Project Manager / Senior Project Architect will oversee complex healthcare projects across Manhattan and Long Island, with a strong emphasis on technical delivery.

Role Details
As Senior Healthcare Project Manager you will:
* Lead multiple healthcare architecture projects at different stages across Manhattan and Long Island.
* Act as the right hand and strategic partner to the Healthcare Practice Lead.
* Drive technical delivery: construction documents, coordination and construction administration for healthcare projects.
* Coordinate with engineers, medical planners, equipment consultants and specialist healthcare vendors.
* Manage budgets, staffing, programmes and resource allocation within the healthcare studio.
* Mentor intermediate healthcare Project Architects / Project Managers.
* Help shape the long-term strategy of the healthcare team in New York City.
Requirements
* 10–20+ years’ experience in architecture, with substantial healthcare project experience.
* Proven background as a Senior Project Manager / Healthcare Project Manager / Senior Project Architect delivering hospitals, clinics or complex healthcare environments.
* Strong technical skills from DD and CDs through CA on healthcare work.
* Architectural degree (B.Arch or M.Arch) strongly preferred.
* Proficient in Revit, with recent healthcare projects delivered in Revit.
* Candidates coming from client-side PM firms (e.g. large global project management groups) must demonstrate hands‑on technical and production experience, not just oversight.
* Long-term leadership mindset – this is a pathway role for someone who wants to grow within a New York City healthcare architecture studio.
