Location: RainhillPosition: Temporary English TeacherContract Duration: As soon as possible Monday to FridayAxcis is seeking a dynamic and dedicated English teacher to provide maternity cover for the period September 2024 to February 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and supportive high school community in Rainhill. Key Responsibilities:• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons for students in Years 7-11.• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic achievement and personal development.• Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey.• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the English curriculum.• Attend departmental meetings and participate in school-wide initiatives. Qualifications and Requirements:• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree in English or a related field.• Proven experience teaching English to secondary school students (Years 7-11).• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning atmosphere.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.• A passion for fostering a love of literature and language within the student body.
