We’re looking for an experienced freelance marketing and communications business partner to support our team. Could it be you?

An opportunity has arisen for a communications and marketing all-rounder to join us on a freelance basis, supporting as part of the day-to-day service or delivering specific projects.
Overview
You’ll have experience in building, enhancing and protecting reputations and brands through high quality internal, customer and corporate communications. You’ll also have expertise in internal communications and colleague engagement, strong media relations experience including drafting news releases, and excellent campaign planning, delivery and evaluation skills.
Responsibilities
* Drive communication strategies to support organisational objectives and protect the brand reputation.
* Develop and deliver internal communications and colleague engagement initiatives.
* Manage media relations, including drafting and issuing news releases.
* Plan, execute and evaluate campaigns across multiple channels and audiences.
* Provide high-quality copywriting and editing for a variety of channels.
* Plan and deliver events as required.
* Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
* Bring proven experience in similar communications roles.
* Be able to work at our head office in Oldham and remotely depending on business need.
Qualifications
* Experience in building, enhancing and protecting reputations and brands.
* Expertise in internal communications and colleague engagement.
* Strong media relations experience including drafting news releases.
* Excellent campaign planning, delivery and evaluation skills.
* First-class copywriting and editing skills for varied channels and audiences.
* Event planning and delivery experience.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Proven experience in similar communications roles.
* Ability to work at the head office in Oldham and remotely as needed.
