Senior Accountant (Internal Reporting Focus)
Location: London/ HybridContract Type: Interim / Contract (with potential to convert to permanent role)Salary: £400 - £550 a day Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join our IFES team, initially on an interim/contract basis, with a strong possibility of transitioning into a permanent role.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality internal reporting and financial analysis. You will work closely with a team of three Senior Reporting Accountants, contributing to month-end processes and providing meaningful insights into financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Ownership and delivery of month-end reporting
* Preparation and analysis of internal financial reports
* Identifying and explaining key trends, movements, and variances
* Supporting FP&A activities, including forecasting and planning
* Working with financial systems, particularly TM1
* Collaborating with stakeholders across finance and the wider business
About You
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant with 4-5 years' experience
* Strong background in financial reporting and FP&A
* Experience within the insurance industry (preferred)
* Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
* Hands-on experience with TM1 or similar financial systems
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
