We are recruiting an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA / Estimator) to join a well-established and reputable accident repair group in the South East. Based at a modern, BS10125-certified bodyshop in Shepperton, this role offers stability, strong earning potential, and a supportive team environment.
You will be responsible for producing accurate repair assessments while delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the repair journey.
Key Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates
Identify required repairs and parts using sound mechanical knowledge
Ensure all estimates meet NVQ standards and internal quality controls
Liaise professionally with customers, insurers, and workshop teams
Manage customer handovers efficiently and accurately
Upsell additional services where appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction
Maintain a high level of attention to detail at all times
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator role
ATA or NVQ qualification desirable but not essential
Strong technical and mechanical understanding
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bodyshop environment
