Watson Associates have been an accountancy practice for over 60 years in Hailsham and we provide a broad range of business accountancy and audit services to over 3,000 clients.
The firm has grown over recent years and its ambitious expansion plans have been largely achieved with the Practice now having 11 highly respected Directors and over 60 staff operating in different areas of expertise.
This is a great opportunity to take up a professional training contract with a mid-size firm of accountants.
No previous experience is necessary and a full study package is available. The Trainee Accountant will progress through the ACCA qualification whilst learning the basics of the preparation of client's accounts.
Key Responsibilities of a Trainee Accountant to include:-
* Learning the basics of the accountancy processes/procedures, including the preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
* Learning different accounting software such as Sage, quickbooks and Xero.
You will be an enthusiastic individual who will be willing to learn and show the commitment to progress through the ACCA qualification whilst learning the basics of accountancy. You may have just passed your A levels, completed AAT or a degree. If you are keen to learn and succeed then Watson Associates want to speak with you as no previous work experience is necessary.
Key requirements:-
* Must be either a graduate or hold good A levels (achieved) and/or AAT level 3 or above.
* Someone who is enthusiastic and is willing to learn
* A general all round interest in accountancy and prepared to commit to progressing through the ACCA qualification
