Nursery Nurse – Hull (Full-Time, Temporary)

About the Role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join our team in Hull on a full-time, temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a nurturing and creative environment.
You’ll be working as part of a friendly and dedicated early years team, helping to provide high-quality childcare and learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the daily care, play, and education of children aged 0–5 years
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children
* Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities
* Observe and record children’s development and progress
* Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (or equivalent)
* Experience working with children aged 0–5 years
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
* Positive, caring, and reliable attitude
* Flexibility to work across different nursery settings if required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
