Operating across multiple international e-commerce platforms, this is a brand-led, high-growth environment where finance plays a central role in driving performance and supporting strategic decision-making.
As the business continues to expand its product offering and global footprint, they are strengthening their finance team with the addition of a commercially minded Management Accountant. This role offers broad exposure across revenue, marketing, overheads, and international VAT, working closely with senior stakeholders and a highly capable finance leadership team.
The Role
This is a varied and impactful Management Accountant position with a strong commercial and business-partnering element. You'll take ownership of key areas of the P&L and balance sheet while also helping to modernise reporting, reduce manual processes, and improve the quality of financial insight across the business.
You'll work cross-functionally with tech, data, and senior operational leaders, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys working beyond the numbers and influencing decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Own the monthly management accounts process for revenue, trade debtors, cash in transit, VAT, marketing spend, and business overheads
Business partner with senior leaders to provide clear analysis and commentary against budget and prior year performance
Lead the evolution of reporting and analysis, proactively identifying gaps and delivering meaningful commercial insight
Collaborate with internal and external tech teams to improve financial processes and reduce manual reconciliations
Take ownership of VAT / GST submissions across multiple international markets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Line manage and support one Assistant Management Accountant
Partner with the Data & Insights team to enhance the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of financial information
Maintain balance sheet integrity through accurate reconciliations and robust financial controls
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal governance requirements
Review and improve accounting processes to support a fast-scaling, international business
About You
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
Previous experience within e-commerce, retail, or a similar fast-paced environment
Strong background in management accounting with clear commercial exposure
Proven track record in a high-growth business
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
Confident working with ERP systems and advanced Excel
Proactive, organised, and comfortable operating in a changing environment
Strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships across the business
