Cover Supervisors needed across East London Secondary Schools!
Locations: Barking and Dagenham, Hackney, Havering, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest
Salary: £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience)

Cover Supervisor – The Role:
* Supervising a class during the short-term absence of the class teacher
* Delivering pre-prepared lessons, ensuring pupils stay on task
* Supporting students across a variety of subjects and year groups (KS3 and KS4)
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
* Supporting students to engage in their learning
* Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons
Cover Supervisor – Job Requirements:
* Experience working with secondary-aged students is essential – ideally within a school setting
* Ideally degree-educated or working towards a degree (or equivalent)
* Experience working with children or young people (schools, clubs, tutoring, childcare etc.)
* A specialism in a subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, PE) is welcomed but not required
* Confident communicator with excellent classroom presence
* Reliable, adaptable and able to work at short notice
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
* An interest in pursuing a career in teaching or education is a bonus!
