Overview
The post holder will join the Acute Oncology service, reporting to the Advanced Nurse Practitioner for Acute Oncology and working with the Clinical Leads for Acute Oncology and Cancer of Unknown Primary (CUP) to ensure seamless delivery of care for patients and their families referred to these services. As a core member of the Acute Oncology service and MUO/CUP team, they will work autonomously within the Emergency Department (ED), Outpatients and Inpatient wards to ensure equitable, standardized, high-quality care for patients who present with cancer treatment or disease-related complications. They will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide specialist advice in all aspects of Acute Oncology, supporting seamless delivery of care and integration of services. The post holder will act as an educational resource and support provision of education to the wider Trust. They will facilitate innovative and evidence-based nursing practice through professional leadership; participate in clinical audits related to Acute Oncology and CUP, and contribute to ongoing service development with support from senior colleagues.

Responsibilities
* Work autonomously within the ED, Outpatients and Inpatient wards to deliver equitable, standardized, high-quality care for patients with cancer treatment or disease-related complications.
