Software Developer
Adecco is seeking a creative Software Developer for a client in Stockport. This role is central to supporting the client's growth plans across their group companies. The position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse technology base, allowing the developer to apply both breadth and depth of technical knowledge while continuously learning. The successful candidate will join a close-knit team of IT professionals, contributing to the development and maintenance of bespoke software applications.

What you will do
Interpret business requirements and technical specification documents to develop software
Write, modify, and debug software systems using source debuggers and visual development environments
Test and document software prior to deployment to ensure functionality
Perform maintenance programming and correct identified defects in software
Assist with training and monitoring new and existing staff members
Your Skills
Significant experience in programming and coding bespoke software applications
Proficiency in C#, MVC, ASP.NET, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and Microsoft Entity Framework
Experience with SQL Server 2000+ and knowledge of Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
Familiarity with Visual Studio 2 012+ for software development
Ability to qualify user requirements to inform software development specifications
