Greenkeeper - Leatherhead Beaverbrook Golf Club, a private members 18-hole, luxury golf course is looking for a talented and committed Assistant Greenkeeper to join the team. Located in Leatherhead in the heart of the picturesque Surrey Hills, the golf course was designed and constructed by renowned golf course architect David McLay Kidd in collaboration with 8-time major winner Tom Watson. Working with the most up to date machinery, the greenkeeping team are responsible for maintaining a highly conditioned course. With a strong focus on professional development, the department has a generous budget for training and supports our greenkeepers in the completion of further education, apprenticeships, certified industry training including Pa certification and Chainsaw use. There is also the potential to attend conferences such as BTME Continue to Learn and other in-house development opportunities This role requires an experienced greenkeeper looking for a new challenge at a progressive and exclusive golf club. Requirements: Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce a high standard of work. Good time management and communication skills Enthusiastic, motivated individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Team player who is also able to use own initiative. A good understanding of operating machinery. A flexible approach to work, work hours and weekend duties. A drive for continued personal development. The right candidate will ideally have a NVQ Level 2 greenkeeping qualification or be working towards this. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1 in 3 weekends with a day off following the weekend shift. 40 hours per week Salary: up to 30,500 dependant on qualifications and experience plus Food Allowance & Christmas members tronc bonus.
