With a new Principal recently appointed, the academy is entering an exciting new phase of stability, direction, and renewed ambition. As we strengthen our provision and raise aspirations across the academy, we are seeking an exceptional Deputy Principal to join our leadership team and help shape the next phase of Brightstowe’s development. This is a pivotal role for a leader energized by challenge, motivated by impact, and committed to delivering an exceptional education for all.
Responsibilities
* Leading curriculum planning and development across the academy
* Managing timetabling to support effective teaching and learning
* Supporting staff to deliver high‑quality lessons and secure strong outcomes
* Championing student wellbeing, inclusion, and achievement
* Working closely with the Principal and SLT to ensure smooth, effective operations
Qualifications
* Leadership experience at Deputy Principal level, or clear readiness to step into the role
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Resilience, strategic thinking, and a calm presence under pressure
* A commitment to inclusive, ambitious learning environments
* The ability to inspire, support, and develop both staff and students
