Health & Safety and Facilities Manager (Part-Time)

Croydon (Hybrid Working)

24 hours per week (across 4–5 days)

£37,885 pro rata (£55,250 FTE)

Hourly rate £30.36 + Holiday pay (£34.02)

Pension

We are working with a well-established organisation in Croydon who are looking to appoint a Health & Safety and Facilities Manager on a part-time basis.

This is a key role responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-managed working environment, alongside overseeing facilities operations and contractor management.

The Role

* Lead on all aspects of health and safety across the organisation
* Ensure compliance with UK health and safety legislation
* Oversee facilities management and day-to-day site operations
* Manage contractors, suppliers, and service agreements
* Monitor budgets and support facilities-related projects
* Line manage a Facilities Coordinator (currently being recruited)

Working Pattern

* 24 hours per week, across 4 - 5 days
* Minimum 2 days in the office (initially 3 days on-site during onboarding)

Requirements

* NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) or strong relevant experience
* Previous experience in facilities or office management
* Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and compliance
* Experience managing contractors, budgets, and projects
* Full right to work in the UK

Additional Information

* Candidates must be available to start by 13 April 2026 to allow for a full handover period
