Job Description
Our client is a well‑known and successful water treatment consultancy offering specialist water treatment, hygiene and legionella services across the UK. They are looking for a dedicated Legionella Risk Assessor based in or around Maidstone to join their team. The successful candidate must demonstrate experience in undertaking legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 guidelines and have performed routine cleaning and chlorination duties on hot and cold water systems.
Consideration will be given to candidates from Rochester, Sittingbourne, Staplehurst and surrounding areas.
Experience
* Completed the City & Guilds Legionella Risk Assessment course or equivalent WMS qualification.
* Proven track record as a legionella risk assessor within the water hygiene/water treatment industry.
* Hands‑on experience delivering water hygiene duties to a varied site base.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
Role Responsibilities
* Conduct legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8 across a varied site base.
* Compile and create schematic drawings, and produce final documents/reports for clients.
* Provide recommendations and pricing for remedial works, routine control measures and quotations, and carry out such works based on the risk assessments.
* Write up comprehensive reports and attend meetings to discuss findings.
* Participate in the company’s legionella management systems.
* Build and maintain a good working rapport with clients, customers and staff.
* Deal with problems as and when required in an appropriate and effective manner.
* Prioritise workload and ensure work is completed within the required timescale.
* Travel to sites as per client requirements.
