Salary Range: £48,000 - £72,000
Location: Eastleigh - Hybrid

The Sustainability Reporting Lead role at Ageas is a proactive and detail-oriented position to drive the development and implementation of sustainability reporting frameworks. It involves turning data into useful insights, staying up to date with trends, and collaborating with different teams and partners to ensure sustainability efforts are effective and well-governed.
The successful candidate will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of sustainability (including DEI and social value) reporting systems. The role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, supports internal decision-making, and helps the organisation meet its environmental and social objectives.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate across Sustainability and Finance teams to align carbon goals with financial planning and forecasting.
* Establish and execute a robust sustainability reporting strategy aligned with recognised standards and organisational goals.
* Design and oversee data systems to collect, validate, and manage sustainability metrics from internal and external sources.
* Generate actionable insights from sustainability data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Deliver timely, high-quality reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with frameworks like CSRD, SERC, SBTi, GHG Protocol, and CRFD.
* Integrate sustainability into financial planning, including carbon accounting, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with Finance teams.
* Promote strong governance and collaboration, staying current with best practices, supporting materiality assessments, and building effective relationships across teams.
Qualifications
* Expertise in sustainability reporting frameworks and standards, including GHG Protocol, SBTi, CSRD, TCFD, CDP, GRI, SASB, and IFRS, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements such as SECR, ESOS, and CRFD.
* Proficient in environmental management systems and social value standards, with a solid understanding of sustainability regulations and compliance obligations.
* Skilled in financial modelling and business partnering, integrating sustainability metrics into financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
* Strong analytical and strategic capabilities, combining a data-driven mindset with problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Effective communicator and collaborator, experienced in stakeholder engagement, cross-functional teamwork, and presenting complex information to senior leadership.
* Proven track record in ESG and sustainability roles, including developing reporting frameworks, managing regulatory submissions, and leveraging reporting tools and data analysis software.
