Job Description
· Grow and motivate team members through capability development.
· Works in harmony with all hotel employees, especially is Housekeeping/ Maintenance/ Sales/ Finance/ Security.
· Takes room reservation at the counter or on the telephone.
· Work closely with the Housekeeping Department, inform Housekeeping of early check-in, late check-out, room changes.
· Verifies room status from Housekeeper’s report.
· Properly records and posts to the appropriate folios all charge payments of room accounts. This includes both credit card charges and city ledger charge.
· Perform any other duties as may be required by the Front Office Manager or Management of the Hotel which is deemed necessary to promote the flow of work and ultimately achieve the standards of Accor Hotel.
· Prepare to meet all incoming/outgoing groups especially the tour leader to ensure everything is in order.
· Handles all mails, telexes, messages, packages, flowers, gifts and other item for guests.
· Assigns safety deposit boxes to guests and observes proper procedures on key control, entry and release of boxes. Checks out guests and performs related tasks.
· Maintain complete knowledge of all food & beverage services, outlets and hotel services/features
· Be fully conversant with hotel fire & life safety/emergency procedures
· Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
Qualifications
· Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality Management
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
· Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language. Fluently Vietnamese
· Good communication and customer contact skills
· Service oriented with an eye for details
· Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
· Self-motivated and energetic
· Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
