Job summary The position of Maintenance Joiner will be based at the Prestwich site with a percentage of the time being spent supporting GMMH buildings on the site and covering all locations throughout the Trust. This may change depending on the needs of the service. Main duties of the job To carry out the repair, maintenance, or installation of all elements of building structure and fabric associated with all Trust properties. This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), fault finding, emergency response, defect correction and minor works. The post-holder will be an integral part of a strong site-based team structure. As an experienced individual who will be the first line Building Maintenance Technician for all day-to-day breakdowns, repairs and planned preventative maintenance works. The post holder will be employed to work appropriate to their core skills around building fabric. You will be versatile and able to handle conflicting priorities within this dynamic hospital environment, possessing great interpersonal skills that will allow you to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical staff. You will already have significant building services experience and have the ability to work under pressure.
