Head Chef
Full time - 8am to 5pm daily - NO EVENINGS
(must be able to work saturdays AND sundays)
£16-£18p/h
What you will do:
* Menu Planning: Create new menu ideas, develop recipes, and decide how to present dishes
* Food quality: Ensure food is fresh and of high quality, and that dishes are presented well
* Kitchen staff: Supervise and assign tasks to other chefs, and train new employees
* Kitchen logistics: Manage inventory, budgeting, and cost control
* Kitchen maintenance: Inspect equipment, supplies, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality
* Communication: Communicate with other staff members and customers
* Delegation: Delegate key menu items and oversee mise en place
* Assistance: Assist with cooking, especially delicate parts of meal preparation
