Company Overview:
A rapidly scaling digital media company is looking for a Head of Talent to join its team at an exciting stage of growth. This business is home to a significant and growing roster of YouTube creators and runs a multi-channel network that blends sport, culture, and original entertainment formats.
The company specialises in creator-first content and is building a commercially-driven talent infrastructure to support and grow some of the most exciting voices in UK digital media.
The Role:
The Head of Talent (YouTube) will be responsible for developing and supporting a high-performing roster of creators. This includes driving audience growth, shaping content strategies, sourcing commercial opportunities, and creating long-term career development plans.
The role requires a deep understanding of YouTube and the creator economy, along with experience in managing digital talent and building commercial partnerships that are authentic and scalable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a roster of YouTube creators across various content verticals
* Provide strategic advice to creators on audience growth, content planning, and brand positioning
* Identify and deliver commercial opportunities including sponsorships, brand deals, and collaborations
* Act as the main point of contact for creators, ensuring alignment between creative output and business objectives
* Work alongside production and platform teams to help creators scale effectively
* Represent the company and its talent externally with professionalism and industry insight
Experience and Attributes:
* Proven experience managing digital-first talent, particularly on YouTube
* Strong knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem including content strategy, algorithm dynamics, and monetisation models
* A track record of developing creator careers and delivering commercial partnerships
* Confident, organised, and proactive in a fast-moving creative environment
* Skilled at building trusted relationships with both talent and commercial partners
* Passionate about online content, youth culture, and the evolving creator landscape
