Job Description
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Managing and scheduling a portfolio of audits from planning to completion and supervising junior staff members.
2. Identifying complex audit matters, addressing them appropriately, and referring to the partner when necessary.
3. Ensuring files are complete and ready for Partner review, with all pertinent points raised in a timely manner.
4. Liaising with clients to ensure timely delivery of services and maintaining professional relationships.
5. Handling client queries effectively.
6. Organising client meetings, including setting agendas and preparing memos.
7. Leading and organising team meetings.
8. Managing staff appraisals and development.
The Successful Applicant
Key skills & experience:
* Minimum 3 years post-ACA/ACCA qualification, preferably 5 years.
* At least 1 year of audit experience within a similar role.
* Knowledge of Caseware / Mercia Audit methodology.
* Experience with data analytic tools.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines.
* Ability to build effective internal and external working relationships.
