McBride Sport is proud to be partnering with a national governing body to appoint a dynamic Commercial Lead/Manager – a newly created high-impact role that sits at the heart of the organisation’s strategic leadership. This is a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a modern, innovative commercial strategy across sport, events, partnerships, and media – all within a high-performance environment with international reach. As Commercial Lead, you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for leading the organisation’s commercial operations – including:
* Commercial Strategy: Co-create and deliver a robust strategy that secures sustainable revenue streams
* Partnerships: Lead sales, negotiation, and delivery of commercial partnerships
* Events: Oversee the planning and delivery of all domestic and international events
* Marketing & Comms: Direct the organisation’s brand, audience growth and digital engagement
* Social Impact: Integrate legacy and community initiatives into event and partner activations
* Media & Broadcast: Support on broadcast rights strategy and content distribution
You’ll also manage a multi-disciplinary growth team and play a key role on the Senior Management Team and so with this in mind we’re Looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial commercial leader with:
* A strong track record in commercial strategy, partnership sales and delivery
* An understanding of audience development and digital engagement
* People leadership and budget management skills
* A passion for sport and a proven ability to work in fast-paced, purpose-led environments
* Previous experience in sport, media, entertainment or events is desirable but not essential.
