Established in 2007, Solarpro is one of the leading players in Europe in the renewable energy solutions. With over 1,100 employees in 9 countries, we offer a wide range of hybrid energy systems and solutions. With more than 8 GWp installed capacity and more than 100 PV plants under operation, we have gained significant experience in engineering, installation, operation, and maintenance of PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid). We have been providing EPC and O&M services for over 15 years and take pride in delivering project-specific solutions, sustainable results, and added value to our clients.

The Role: We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Expert to drive growth in the solar renewables and hybrid energy storage sector. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to contribute to the UK’s renewable energy revolution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the solar and BESS (hybrid) renewables market.
2. Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, developers, and corporate clients.
3. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
5. Conduct ongoing research on the required procedures, processes, required certificates, and stages of EPC services within the UK market.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
7. Negotiate contracts, partnerships, and deals to support the company’s expansion.
8. Stay updated on industry regulations, incentives, and emerging technologies in the solar energy and energy storage sector.
9. Drive end-to-end project development, from initial client engagement to deal closure and contract execution.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our brand and expand our network.

Requirements:

1. Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnerships within the renewable energy sector, preferably in solar and battery storage.
2. Strong network and connections within the solar and energy storage industry.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
4. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies and business growth plans.
5. Knowledge of solar PV technologies, hybrid energy solutions, project development, and financing models.
6. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
7. Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
