About the Company
Our client is a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of high-integrity HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) equipment, serving demanding sectors such as offshore oil & gas, nuclear, marine, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and energy industries.
With a strong commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, they combine precision welding (primarily in stainless steel 316L) and advanced Siemens PLC-controlled systems to deliver fully bespoke, high-spec HVAC units that meet the toughest industry standards.
Due to ongoing growth and investment in future talent, they are now seeking experienced Fabricator/Welders to join their skilled production team.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble HVAC units and components from stainless steel and other materials to exacting standards
Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings specific to HVAC systems and pressure-rated assemblies
Perform TIG and MIG welding, primarily on stainless steel (316L), to achieve high-integrity, leak-free welds
Use grinders, saws, and hand tools to prepare materials and finish welds for HVAC system requirements
Work closely with engineers and quality teams to ensure all HVAC units meet ISO and industry-specific standards
Conduct final inspection and pressure/leak testing on welded HVAC components and ductwork
Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on welding and fabrication equipmentRequirements
Proven experience in HVAC equipment fabrication and welding, preferably in regulated industries
Strong ability to read and interpret complex HVAC engineering drawings and schematics
Skilled in MIG and TIG welding, with a focus on stainless steel (316L)
Proficient with fabrication machinery and hand tools
Knowledge of ducting, pressure vessels, and structural steelwork used in HVAC systems
Understanding of welding standards and inspection criteria for critical environments (e.g. offshore, nuclear)Key Skills
