We are hiring an Onboarding Lead for a fintech startup dedicated to reducing the costs of trading. They are a growing company that understands the difference each individual can make.
About the role:
As an Onboarding Lead, you will be responsible for getting new clients up and running on our platform.
Working with a team of analysts and software developers, you will pick apart their data, validate our analytics, and configure our product to fulfil their specific needs, ensuring they can rely on our platform to run their business.
Every client has a unique setup, which means every onboarding project presents a unique challenge.
Your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Setting up a range of user functionality for margin management
• Analysing trade portfolios to identify the data needed for our calculations
• Testing our product for each new client to ensure our analytics are correct
• Working with clients to understand how we can deliver maximum value to them as quickly as possible

What we are looking for
• You are a proven problem solver, methodically working through possibilities to find a solution.
• You have experience in a bank, hedge fund, asset manager or fintech.
• You have experience of working with an enterprise system; building an understanding of the flows and investigating issues or analysing enhancement requests.
• You have experience in a customer-facing role and have demonstrated you can build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• You have graduated from a top university in the last few years with a quantitative or analytical degree (e.g. Economics, Maths, Finance).
• You have knowledge of derivatives markets, products and risk management, and are keen to build on this knowledge further.
• You seek to understand the bigger picture but are also detail-oriented and keen to understand the ‘why’ of everything you work on.
• You are adept at context-switching and relish changing priorities.
• You are proficient at searching and manipulating data using Excel.
• You know when to approach others for help and are skilled at extracting the right information from the right people.
• You can confidently articulate and present your own ideas and solutions.
• You can effectively communicate with both software developers and external clients, be it face-to-face or written correspondence.
