About the Company
We are looking for a highly commercial Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end build and launch of Skinnydip’s new warehouse facility. This is a brand-new role within the business and will be responsible for overseeing the warehouse build-out from initial planning through to operational launch, before taking full ownership of day-to-day operations across Ecommerce, Wholesale & Retail. You will establish the processes, systems and structure required to scale the business across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities
* Lead the build and launch of Skinnydip’s new warehouse facility, overseeing layout design, operational flow, WMS implementation, systems integration and launch readiness across ecommerce, wholesale and concessions.
* Develop and implement scalable operational processes across inbound, outbound, returns, replenishment and stock allocation to support multi channel growth.
* Manage the integration of Print on Demand (POD) products into the warehouse operation, ensuring systems, space planning and workflows are structured for efficiency, quality control and future growth.
* Drive ongoing process improvement initiatives, proactively identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions to optimise workflows, reduce costs and improve service levels.
* Leverage operational data and analytics to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision making, commercial planning and performance optimisation across the business.
* Develop and support the operational strategy for US and European expansion, improving international fulfilment processes, reducing shipping and duty costs, and ensuring infrastructure is built for scalable cross border growth.
* Own day-to-day warehouse performance, ensuring strong SLAs, high pick accuracy, efficient dispatch and seamless coordination across ecommerce, wholesale accounts, concessions and retail stores.
* Establish and monitor clear operational KPIs including cost per order, dispatch times, stock accuracy, returns rates and shrinkage, driving continuous improvement.
* Manage inbound freight, container planning and stock flow to ensure availability aligns with trading and launch calendars.
* Recruit, structure and lead the warehouse team, embedding accountability, performance standards and a high-performance operational culture.
* Oversee operational budgets, carrier relationships and contract negotiations, identifying cost efficiencies while maintaining strong customer experience standards.
* Partner cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Sales and Finance to ensure operational infrastructure supports commercial objectives and long-term scalability.
Qualifications
* 5+ years in operations / warehouse leadership
* Experience leading a warehouse move or new site launch (essential)
* Experience in ecommerce and wholesale environments
* Strong understanding of WMS and systems integrations
* Commercially minded and KPI driven
* Comfortable in a scale-up / fast-moving brand environment
