Lecturer in Educational Psychometrics – Bangor University, North Wales Medical School. Responsibilities
* Provide psychometric support, advice and guidance to the School’s activities in student assessment and selection across professional programmes.
* Contribute to teaching across the new independent Medicine programme, the teach-out phase of the Cardiff C21 North Wales Medicine programme, and the new MPharm Pharmacy programme.
* Contribute to development and quality assurance of the North Wales Medical School in alignment with expanding student intake over the next five years.
* Oversee the development of psychometric tools and analysis to support standard setting and attainment of academic standards.
* Commence teaching duties as soon as possible and contribute to the broader field of Psychometrics within the School.
* Pursue the University’s Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma/Masters in Medical Education or other recognised teaching qualifications with job plan support and school backing.
Qualifications
* Higher degree (or equivalent) in a subject with a high statistical content (e.g., Mathematics, Psychology, Computer Science) with knowledge of relevant statistical and psychometric approaches to assessment analysis.
