Warehouse Operative
Location: Bellshill
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: £11.91 per hour/ Weekly Pay
We are seeking a Despatch Picker/Loader to join our Warehouse team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products are picked and loaded efficiently and accurately for our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Pick products using paper picking lists and Voice picking systems.
2. Load products into trailers following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Accurately complete all transactions related to order picking and loading using AS400.
4. Ensure stock rotation and use products within Minimum Life on Receipt (MLOR).
5. Assist in daily stock counting and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
6. Ensure vehicles are maintained at temperatures below 5°C before and during loading.
7. Follow all site food safety and hygiene rules.
8. Utilize the STAR card system and Docksafe system for safety compliance.
9. Stand in for the coordinator when required.
Key Requirements:
1. Previous experience in despatch or cold store work is desirable.
2. High standard of numeracy and literacy.
3. Experience with AS400 and operating a pick system.
4. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
5. Ability to identify and communicate problems effectively.
6. Capability and accountability in stock control.
