Overview We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join our fabrication and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting and operating press brake machinery, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a solid understanding of engineering and fabrication processes. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and operate press brake machines to produce components to exact specifications Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, engineering schematics, and job instructions Select appropriate tooling, machine settings, and materials for each job Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as verniers, calipers, and protractors Ensure components meet required tolerances and quality standards Monitor production to identify and resolve any issues or non-conformities Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Work collaboratively with the fabrication and engineering teams to meet production deadlines Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a press brake setter/operator Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings Solid understanding of engineering and fabrication principles Experience with metal folding, forming, or sheet metal work Good knowledge of materials, machine controls, and tooling Ability to check own work and follow quality procedures Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Experience with CNC press brake machines (e.g., Amada, Bystronic, Trumpf) Knowledge of bending allowances, tooling selection, and machine programming FLT licence or other relevant qualifications (not essential) Shifts Monday to Thursday 7am - 4pm Friday 7am - 12:00 Please click to apply or call, press option 2 and ask to speak to Freddie.
