We are currently recruiting for a Chef to join our team at one of our independent schools in Worksop S80 3A.
This is a permanent, term-time position, working 40 hours per week. The school year comprises 35 weeks. Free on-site staff parking is available, and all staff receive a complimentary meal during their shift.

You'll work closely with our team to create fresh, exciting dishes made from scratch every day, so experience cooking with fresh ingredients is essential. We also place a strong emphasis on engaging with our customers during service, so you'll need to be well-presented, personable, and confident in delivering great hospitality.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Have experience working in a similar role and environment
Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
Have excellent customer service and social skills
Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff
Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 15
Be customer focused
Have basic food knowledge
Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
