Job Description
At PerCurra, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional care for elderly clients, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. We are a reputable domiciliary care company with a 'GOOD' CQC rating, supporting our clients in Chelmsford, Billericay, Ingatestone, Brentwood, and surrounding areas.
We seek compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to provide essential support in a home care environment. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring client comfort and well-being. Effective communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a caring nature are essential.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times.
* Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs according to individual care plans.
* Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
* Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
* Communicate effectively with clients and their families.
* Accompany clients to appointments or social outings as required.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report concerns to senior management.
Skills
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written, for clear communication.
* Ability to drive and hold a valid driving license.
* Basic IT skills for record-keeping and digital communication.
* Understanding of care plans and ability to implement them.
* Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and families.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve clients’ lives.

Weekly Schedule
* Mornings: 07:00-16:00
* Evenings: 16:00-23:00
* Alternate weekends work (essential)
This role offers the chance to make a difference in individuals’ lives by supporting their daily needs while promoting independence and dignity. FAST TRACK interviews are available, and successful candidates can start as soon as possible, subject to references and DBS checks.
