The Role
The successful candidate will join an established professional team, working across a varied and predominantly commercial portfolio. Key areas of responsibility include:
* Supporting senior management on strategic property matters
* Undertaking a wide range of general practice work, including:
* New lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews, re-gearing
* Lease events, surrenders, and dilapidations
* Delivering valuations across a mixed portfolio (ideally Red Book)
* Involvement in estate management and professional advisory work
* Additional workstreams may include:
* Wayleave and easement negotiations
* Asset valuations, including Local Authority Asset Valuations
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate:
* 5 years+ PQE as a General Practice Surveyor (public or private sector)
* Chartered status (MRICS) with a relevant Real Estate degree or equivalent
* Ideally, RICS Registered Valuer status
* Strong technical knowledge of valuation methodology
* Experience working with - or within - public sector organisations
* Proven ability to supervise or mentor junior team members
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Full UK driving licence
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
* RICS and RICS Registered Valuer fees paid
