About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Registered Manager to lead and oversee our domiciliary care service, delivering high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, developing care packages, managing staff, and driving service growth, while maintaining the highest standards of care, safety, and client satisfaction.
As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture of the service, leading from the front and ensuring that care is person-centred, safe, and in line with CQC regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Hold legal registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as the Registered Manager for the service.

Lead and manage the daily operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.

Recruit, train, manage and support care staff to deliver excellent care services.

Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and records are accurate, person-centred, and regularly reviewed.

Conduct audits, quality assurance checks, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
*
Manage the on-call system and ensure effective rota planning.
*
Work closely with service users, their families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities to build strong partnerships.
*
Investigate and respond to complaints, safeguarding concerns, and incidents appropriately and in line with policies.
*
Monitor KPIs and budgets, ensuring operational efficiency and value for money.
*
Support business development and service expansion in line with organisational goals.
Requirements:
Essential:
*
NVQ/QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
*
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management or deputy manager role within domiciliary care
*
Current or previous CQC Registered Manager status (or readiness to apply)
*
Strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding, and care legislation
*
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:

Experience in growing and scaling domiciliary care services
*
Experience with digital care management systems (e.g., PASS, CarePlanner, PeoplePlanner)
