Working hours: 20 hours per week, (Monday - Friday) Interview Date: To be confirmed Job Summary: Witham Lodge is a Salvation Army Lifehouse and has 30 rooms accommodating men and women over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Cleaner to join our team. Key Responsibilities: As someone committed to providing a high-quality environment for our clients, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our clients can thrive in. You will be carrying out a range of cleaning activities including mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, and cleaning void rooms. Successful candidate will have: Ability to work as part of a staff team to ensure any health and safety issues are addressed by on site staff Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise Ability to respect Confidentiality in line with policy Ability to keep all appropriate paperwork, evidencing tasks completed to support the services provided at the Lifehouse. Ability to complete all areas of your schedule as required Ability to complete all checklists and ensure they are signed off as required Good time keeping and smart appearance Motivation to undertake any training as deemed necessary Willingness and ability to adhere to COSHH regulations, ensuring the correct use and storage of cleaning substances and materials.
