We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified, experienced Accountant to join our busy Platinum Dealerships in Trowbridge.

The Role
Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, as well as annual statutory accounts, in line with Company procedures and deadlines. The role also includes the submission of monthly manufacturer management information within agreed timescales.
You will be part of a strong and collaborative finance function, working alongside a small, talented team of Branch Accountants across the Group who provide mutual support, share best practice, and work closely together. In addition, you will be supported locally by a dedicated team of Accounts Administrators, enabling you to focus on delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of the dealership accounts function
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Production of annual statutory accounts
* Submission of manufacturer management and financial reports
* Ensuring compliance with Company procedures and financial controls
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous accounting experience within a car dealership (highly desirable)
* Strong working knowledge of accounting IT systems
* Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Strong organisational and time-management skills
* Ability to work independently and effectively prioritise workloads
* Clear and confident communication and interpersonal skills
