Are you an experienced and passionate leader looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of children and young people? Our Children in Care Team is seeking a dedicated Team Manager to lead a committed group of social workers focused on achieving permanence and delivering exceptional care.
In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership to ensure high-quality practice across the team. You’ll champion stability, nurture, and long-term well-being for our children, while ensuring their voices are central to every decision. Working collaboratively with foster carers, residential staff, and multi-agency professionals, you will guide the development of robust care plans that promote positive outcomes.
As Team Manager, you will:
1. Lead, support, and develop a team of social workers to deliver outstanding care and safeguarding.
2. Drive performance and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with statutory responsibilities and best practice.
3. Monitor and improve key areas such as permanence planning, life story work, pathway plans, and education outcomes.
4. Foster a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
5. Work closely with senior leaders to shape service delivery and contribute to strategic planning.
