Experience in managing and mentoring is preferable and the successful individual will ideally have Employer, HR support and Senior Executive experience. Responsibilities: Strong track record of dealing with employer advice and senior executive matters. To undertake fee-earning work and provide a profitable contribution to the work of the Employment Team and Business Services Division. To contribute to the successful development of the firm in line with the business plan and firm’s commonality of purpose. To deliver a high quality commercial legal service ensuring personal compliance with quality standards and professional ethics. To be an ambassador for the firm at all times and always promote it in a positive light. The teams Chambers-rated employment services include advising on: employment contracts and policies, performance and absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures and managing restructuring, redundancies and executive severance as well as ad-hoc, day to day support to employers. The team also advise on all aspects of disputes and discrimination issues, regularly dealing with Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation. The firm’s top-ranked employment team handles a wide range of quality contentious and non-contentious work including employee relations advisory work, disputes in the tribunal and courts, drafting employment documentation, corporate transactions and commercial outsourcing TUPE work.
