You’ll lead the facilities and support services department, a small and friendly team deployed across the portfolio.Much of the attraction of working in a cross-portfolio role at Surrey Landscapes is the considerable variety of places you will look after, from a 16th century cottage, to a 20th century modernist home, to 21st century art installations and a new visitor centre. 2 days are rarely the same.Our primary sites are predominantly outdoor locations and wonderful places to work from. We have a great team of teams that all work together and support each other in our efforts to show off our amazing places.You and your team will set the conditions for success across Surrey Landscapes. You'll keep us us safe and compliant, organised and efficient, environmentally responsible, and you'll keep our buildings and facilities in great condition for the benefit of our visitors and our staff. You will be the PLT lead for accessibility and the lead for risk management.You’ll be accountable for delegated budgets and enable your team to deliver through their budgets, ensuring good cost control and sustainable procurement. The advertised salary is inclusive of an Outer London weighting allowance of £3,315.00 Pro rated if you are part time. This varied portfolio currently includes the 3 primary sites of Winkworth Arboretum, Claremont Landscape Gardens and Runnymede. The portfolio also includes the Homewood, an early 19th century modernist property, and Oakhurst Cottage, a 16th century dwelling that has remained unaltered since the mid-19th century.Over the next 6 months we will see some change to the portfolio as we hand over Runnymede to join Osterley, and take on FM support to the newly acquired Munstead Wood. We will also be opening a new visitor centre at Winkworth in the Spring.Your contractual place of work will be at Claremont in Esher with frequent travel across the portfolio.
