Job Description Registered Veterinary Nurse Are you a skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a temporary role with a great work-life balance? We have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to join our friendly and talented team in a modern, well-equipped pet A&E hospital. The Role: Shift pattern: 7 days on, 7 days off Hours: 1pm – 10pm (9-hour shifts) Contract: Temporary (maternity cover) Salary: £27,000 per annum (pro rata) You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality emergency and critical care, supported by state-of-the-art facilities, including digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, incubators, infusion pumps, and intensive care units. What We’re Looking For: We need a confident and compassionate RVN with strong clinical skills, including: ✅ Pre/post-surgery patient care ✅ Venepuncture & IV catheter placement ✅ Diagnostic imaging preparation & processing ✅ Medication dispensing & administration Beyond technical ability, we value team players with excellent communication, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
