Location: SEN School in Aylesbury Start Date: ASAP Contract: 2.5 days a week, Part-time Salary: depending on Experience Your Role as a PMLD Teacher As a PMLD Teacher, you will: Work closely with a team of experienced teaching assistants and therapists to deliver bespoke, multi-sensory learning experiences. Design and implement EHCP-driven lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom culture, empowering students to thrive both socially and academically. Lead on Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans, and Risk Assessments. Support students with complex medical, physical, and sensory needs - with full training provided. What We're Looking For QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential. Direct experience teaching students with PMLD, or substantial experience working in an SEN environment. Knowledge of Makaton, PECs, or other alternative communication systems is desirable. Calm, resilient, and proactive approach to teaching.
