Supply Chain Assistant
Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday
A leading manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain team with Purchasing & Planning.
Within this role you will be;
* Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Buyer and Planner to provide administrative support
* Creating, updating and tracking of works orders
* Support the procurement team with placing purchase orders
* Maintaining accurate records for supplier information, order confirmations and deliveries
* Maintain and assist with document control
Applicant requirements:
* 1 – 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing
* Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
* Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook
* High attention to detail
The successful applicant will:
* Have 1 – 2 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or planning
* Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
* Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook
* Have excellent attention to detail, highly organised and have a ‘can do’ attitude
* Self-motivated and results driven
