The role
As a Functional Skills Trainer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary.
Day-to-day, you’ll design and deliver effective training solutions to all Student Police Officers and employees who require Functional Skills qualifications.
1. Ensure all training required is planned and delivered to meet the PEQF programme plan.
2. Design and deliver appropriate training materials/programmes to meet organisational learning and development needs; this will include e-learning.
3. Contribute to the evaluation of effectiveness of training delivered.
4. Guidance & support to effectively support Student Police Officers/employees with the Functional Skills e-learning system.
This role is full time and is fully remote.
Essential experience of the Functional Skills Trainer
5. Excellent presentation/facilitation/coaching skills
6. Considerable experience delivering Maths and English
7. Training design and delivery experience
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills
9. Able to prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
Qualifications for the Functional Skills Trainer
10. Holds recognised teaching qualification, preferably at Level 3 or above.
11. Qualified to at least Level 2 in maths, English and ICT
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
