Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our committed Kitchen team. This role involves washing up, cleaning, getting products for chefs, supporting meal preparation, food safety, and service in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleaning, catering, and delivering excellent food experiences. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable industry experience.
Responsibilities
* Help with cleaning and organising crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment so the the restaurant has enough to service busy periods
* Support catering operations by preparing ingredients and plating dishes
* Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen activities
* Help with cleaning, organising, and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas
* Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
* Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Requirements
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Good communication skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
* Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.51 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
